Nedra O. Redditt Award for Exemplary Leadership

As a part of our mission, the Women’s Council of NAREB Memphis Executive Board decided to honor one member of the council each year with the Nedra O. Redditt Award for Exemplary Leadership to express our gratitude to members for their individual effort and commitment to pushing forward the values and mission of the council.

This award is named in honor of our third president and current board of governor, Nedra O. Redditt, whose exemplary and steadfast leadership shined during the 2020 pandemic.

The minimum qualifications for a member to be considered for the award are as follows:

Must be an active and participating member of WCN Memphis for at least 3 years
Must have served in a membership chair or leadership role for at least 1 year
Must have introduced five or more members to the council who have listed the nominee as their reason for joining the council
Must be active in the community by working with the council to engage the community in at least three financial literacy or homebuyer education and networking events each year that they have been a member
Introduced at least two businesses or organizations as event sponsors to the Women’s Council of NAREB Memphis

Superstar Sponsor Award

This award is given to one sponsor a year at our annual scholarship afternoon tea that has been an active member and supporter of the Women’s Council of NAREB Memphis for a minimum of 3 consecutive years.
